The School of Information is an excellent environment for pursuing doctoral studies. The faculty are active in research, pursuing projects in many different areas, using many different methods. The School has exceptional facilities and equipment, and through its faculty projects has access to many off-campus research sites.

Master's Program Applicants
Here are the deadlines for applying for Fall admission to the MSI program (in any year):
Deadline to be considered for financial assistance from SI: February 1
General deadline (U.S. and international applicants): May 1
Here are the deadlines for applying for Winter admission to the MSI program (in any year):
Deadline for ALL international applicants: September 1
Deadline for U.S. applicants to be considered for financial assistance from SI: October 1
General deadline for U.S. applicants: November 15
Applications received after the financial assistance deadline dates are not eligible to receive financial assistance from the School of Information, but will be considered for regular admission for the term requested.
Doctoral Program Applicants
Prospective doctoral students must submit all materials by January 5 of each year. The doctoral program admits students to begin in the fall semester only.
Tuition
The total tuition and required fees listed below are for the 2003 - 2004 academic year.
