The WSU campus police were now involved, and they sent an officer to my house. I began explaining to the police officer what had happened, and let him read our chat history. The officer informed me that Brian White had broken the law with his threats, and that he would track his profile, and make an arrest. A few weeks later I was contacted by the officer who then informed me that Brian White, was a fake name, and he used a fake profile. So, I deleted my Myspace account, and lived in fear for months. Not a great start to my college experience in Pullman, Washington. This is my story of a "not so great" experience with technology. Social Networking made it easy for someone to stalk me, and gain information about me, due to new technology.
