Project Information
As inspiration for my website, I used the C.R.A.P. principles from the book, The Non-Designers Design Book: Design and Typographical Principles for the Visual Novice, by Robin Williams.
Williams describes the C.R.A.P. principles as, contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity. Williams advice for contrast is "if the elements are not the same then make them very different". Williams says with repetition one should "repeat visual elements of the design throughout the piece". Good repitition is making sure "every element has some visual connection with another element on the page", and finally proximity is noting that "items relating to each other should be grouped together" (Williams 13).
