Introduction
January 1st 2008, I moved to Pullman, Wahington to attend Washington State University (WSU), in order to further my education. In a new town, as a new student, and a single mother, I did not make many friends right away. Myspace.com, was a very popular social networking site at the time. I found myself feeling homesick often, so I would spend some of my free time on this site, catching up with friends and family. At this time in my life, I was too trusting of people on social networks, and I accepted a "friend request" on Myspace from a guy in Yakima, Washington. I thought to myself, "he lives far away, there's no harm in adding him as a friend". This is my story of a "not so great" experience with technology.
