Course/Catalog Description
Graphic Design 2 builds upon the learning from Graphic Design 1. Students strengthen visual communication skills and design standard communication pieces, such as: a logo, a poster, a t-shirt, and a direct mailer. Specieal attention is given to using the grid system to structure layouts. Students will learn about relating design to business.
The first major assignment in Design 2 was to design a two page magazine add for Zen Motorcycles, a fictional motorcycle company. The company logo was provided. Part two of the assignment was to design a one page layout, capturing all the same basic elements from the first add.

The second major project for my Design 2 class was to desig a promotional package for Force Street Cycle, a fictional motorcyle company. The promotional package was to include a company Logo, poster, t-shirt, direct mailer, and a stationary package.
