KY26 is a really small asteroid - about 30 meters or 100 feet across. The rendering at left shows three views of the digital model of this tiny asteroid and a T. Rex skeleton for scale. KY26 is about the size of a large dinosaur or whale. It would just about cover a baseball diamond or fill up the dome of the US Capital Building. An object like this  would not be able to penetrate the Earth's atmosphere and would explode long before reaching the ground. But the energy it'd release in the process would be the equivalent of a few Megatons of TNT.
